Diane Kaldahl is the daughter of Prince Helfrich, a well known resident of the McKenzie River. The tree farm is located a few miles upstream from Vida, and is bounded on the south side by Hwy 126. The property was certified as a Tree Farm June 15, 1954 and owned by the Helfrich Brothers. When Diane's father and uncle passed away, the forested land was divided between Diane and her brother, with Diane receiving the parcel she now owns and maintains as Tree Farm Certified.
